One day, an estimator can easily handle a small project. The next day, a large project requires the whole team of estimators to take-off and estimate the project because the customer wants the proposal ASAP. This scenario will always be the greatest challenge for every contractor. Detailing or project management has weeks and months to review the drawings, specifications, addenda, etc. The estimator has days and hours. The time constraints limit the estimator from thoroughly going through the bid documents, which will create the risk of omission throughout the bidding process. The stress incurred by the estimator due to time constraints may impair the decision-making ability as well. Going from a small project to a large ASAP project in a short period creates a wild demand for estimators and vice versa. It’s a real challenge for every contractor to scale up and down the estimating team in such a short time and as needed.  

Our company objective is to work with the contractor to develop a solution to this challenge to provide flexibility and scalability to the contractor's estimating team.
